back in sunny, hotty, tiny singapore!! glad to be home, but on the other hand i miss taiwan so much!! lets have a recap on what i did for 18 wonderful days..

Day 1: Arrived at Songshan Senior High, put our luggage and went for welcome dinner. Super high atmosphere when we saw the taiwanese waitin for us.. followed by a mad rush of hugs and screams that nearly caused a stampede..watched some great perfomances put up by the taiwanese during dinner. spent most of my time taking pictures =) After that went hei hei's house, put down luggage and KO on the bed

Day 2: First day at Lishan Senior High. met the principal, discipline teachers and other bigshots. intro ourselves, collected uniforms and stuff. then headed to Songshan where all 80 of us singaporeans gathered and set off for Sun Yat Sen memorial Hall. saw the guards changing shift.. damn spectacular.. weather was so cold, but we were still wearing skirts!! brr..Next went to another unknown sch to play paintballs. got shot multiple times. After we arrived back at Lishan, went to eat Macs for dinner with all the Lishan ppl..And then we went to the Chiang Kai Shek museum.. saw the Cheng Yuan ppl practsing their performance for their school anniversary on saturday.. in the end the Lishan ppl sat in a cirlce to play games haha.. so COLD!!

Day 3: Had lessons with class 103. they r a nice bunch of ppl! was quite weird to have all lessons conducted in chinese, but after awhile got used to it.. had pe lesson too.. played basketball haha. 103 rocks! eighth period went back to conference room.. chen mingZhi laoshi (aka xiao zhi zhi or san ming zhi) took us to climb the mountain behind Lishan. nearly died on the slopes of the terrible jin mian shan !! stupid san ming zhi!! got road dont want to walk bring us to scale the mountain barehanded!! haha.. ended up with my clothes all covered witb some weird prickly plant.. felt like a porcupine..bought dinner from a roadside stall at the famous 737 lane next to Lishan. next went to songshan party in that pathetic state. songshan party was a blast!! almost like a mega concert.. the atmosphere was super super high! saw zhang dong liang, fan weiqi and nan quan mama.. fell off zhang han's shoulders in my haste to see nanquan mama, inevitably adding more bruises to my body =/ reached home super late... bathed and KO as usual..

Day 4: early morning went to Cheng Yuan Senior High for their 109th anniversary celebration.. so fun! like homecoming at xinmin.. only alot more intresting food..like dry ice soda etc. watched alot of performances put up by the taiwanese and the singaporeans posted to cheng yuan..however was drizzling a little, so had to use a stupid umbrella.. so troublesome.. aftre that went to Longshan Temple with a few vj ppl.. got some amulets for the girls.. ppl say this temple very good de. after that went to walk along nearby Huaxi night market.. saw alot alot of weird food stuff! like snake organs.. the person was abt to feed a rabbit to a snake, and then kill the snake! so gross! unfortunately cant take pictures. but the smell there was quite bad. so we didnt stay long enough to watch the snake-killing..=Z after that went to meet hei hei's family for dinner.. her auntie's bdae, so we went to eat at a Shangxi restaurant.. food there quite special.. al never eat before de.. but quite unique la.. after dinner, hei hei's dad gave me a short tour around Tianmu, the district where i live. stopped at a huge fruit market to take pics of some weird fruits. and finally, home to SLEEP!! haha

Day 5: Went ice skating at Xiao Ju Dan.. weather so cold!!! almost didnt feel like going haha.. but luckily i went cuz it was fun even though i didnt know how to skate.. went into the rink and walked 3 rounds with Li seng at an excruciatingly slow speed, while others were zooming around us.. was so scared i was going to get knocked down haha.. finally i gave up, went out and sat on the stands to watch them skate. took lots of pics too! haha.. After skating went to the famous Shilin night market for dinner!! ate lots and lots of food!! me, zhenghao, hei hei, chi heem and Xiang-ge ate like over 10 kinds of dishes, including fried oyster, smelly tofu, pig blood soup, pig blood cake, spicy buns, ice cream buns, pearl milk tea, frog lay eggs, coffin bread, candy sticks and bbq muah chee blah blah.. after that met meiyian they all and went arcade to play.. the arcade was super fun!! i laughed until stomachach when zhenghao and meiyian was playing that stupid baby racing game haha..

Day 6: last day of lessons with class 103! they are such a cute class! haha..8th period had calligraphy lessons with all the singaporeans.. the calligraphy teacher write so well!! anyway, he gave each jc a couplet haha.. so nice, though i fell asleep halfway thru the lesson haha.. after school went to eat dinner at some jap restaurant, but the food not very nice.. after dinner went to sit the biggest ferris wheel, called Mei Li Hua.. the view frm the top of the wheel is magnificent!! can see the taipei 101 frm so far! haha.. took lots of pics too.. but the night was so cold! haha..

Day 7: first 2 periods had a lesson about the general situation and geography of taiwan. quite intresting =) after that went to 202, aka hei hei's class for lessons.. 202 is such a happening class!! mandy gave a guzheng performance.. she plays so damn well!!! jealous haha.. after sch went to Raohe night market with hei hei and her classmate vickie.. after that went to Wu Fen Pu , near the songshan railway station, to meet isabel and the rest of the vj ppl posted to songshan! so happie to see isabel haha.. shopped for awhile then went home cuz quite late le haha..

Day 8: Went to Ying Ge (famous for pottery) with the Bai Ling Senior High ppl...designed and made my own mug haha!! also made a put designs on the small clay musical instrument they gave us.. after that we made our own plates, bowls, vases and stuff with clay..i made a bowl.. unfortunately it collapsed so i cant take it home haha.. so sad =/ but the other singaporeans carried their creations back to sch.. after being dismissed at Lishan, we went to eat steamboat at a restaurant.. the steamboat very unique. each person has a soup stove, and the food comes in a belt like sushi restaurants.. cool! after that supposed to go singing, but cuz quite late le so went home instead..

Day 9: Had chemistry SPA lesson with xiao zhi zhi for the first 3 periods.. we made bombs!! haha.. using yakult bottles.. dunno how exactly to describe since i dont take science anymore.. but anyway we used some lighter thing to shoot yaklut bottles along the corridoors.. we did silver plating on test tubes too =) after that went to class 107 for 2 periods.. and then went for special lessons with my buddy.. i went to her art lesson and did a horrible drawing as compared to them who take art as a subj.. then went for psychology and sociology class with the rest of the singaporeans.. but the room was so comfortable ALL of us fell asleep on the pillows.. and the taiwanese took pics of us haha.. 8th period xiao zhi zhi took us to 737 lane and treated us to dou hua.. cuz he owed us a treat for bringing us to cimb that mountain haha.. and we played zhongji mi ma to finish all the dou hua.. =X after school went to taipei 101, currently the tallest building on earth.. the lift took us up to the 89th floor in 37 secs!! cool.. the view up there was magnificent!! took lots of pics.. after that rushed to Ximen Ding to meet isabel for shopping.. but cuz we reached late so cant shop for long..

Day 10: Lessons with class 107!! dunno why but im not very close to 107.. but they are actually veri nice ppl too =) afternoon we went to watch the CCA concert.. which is like each CCA will go on stage to show wat they have learnt for the past yr.. quite cool la.. the dance club was super great!! i realise taiwanese are veri good at dancing! esp the guys!! SO COOL HAHA.. hei hei and her drama club put up a hilarious skit haha.. after that went back to conference room, xiao zhi zhi cooked tang yuan for us to eat..that night went to shilin night market again.. but this time to SHOP! half the girls of 202 came along this time.. by now we r great frens! i love 202!! haha.. they accompanied me to buy shoes.. which we searched for a long long time cuz cldnt find my size.. in the end i bought kid shoes haha.. so funny.. then cuz we were late to reach the gathering place and the place was super crowded!! so we formed a chain and squeeze here squeeze there at top speed!! so fun haha.. i cldnt stop laughing haha.. eventually realised we were the FIRST to reach the meeting place =X..

Day 11: Went to Leofoo Village aka amusement park on a mountain.. that plce makes Escape look like a kid's playground haha..oh and it was really really cold.. the wind was so i played most of the rides la..but didnt dare to take the flying condor thing.. which is this ride that u go very very high at top speed and then zoom down and go the other way up on a spiral thing and zoom down again for 2 times.. scary scary scary.. i got cold feet jus watching ppl play.. i went with the hwa chong jc ppl instead of the vj one haha i oso dunno why.. but the HCI ppl veri nice! esp bear bear haha../ and my face is not a nuan nuan bao (heat pack)!!! oh and the amusement park has a separate zoo section! so cool haha.. we took this monorail thing and the ostrich came right beside our carriage! sean was so frightedned haha... had alot of fun there.. too bad isabel nv go.. after that went for dinner at the taipei station's underground mall.. shopped ard for a while then go home le..

Day 12: VJ OUTING!! went to Zhengxian's steak restaurant! the place is so posh! and his mother personally served us.. so nice hhaa.. the steak was huge!!! and then all the appetisers and desserts and drinks all so big serving de.. of course i cant finish haha..but its realli realli delicious!!! and i secretly paid first b4 hei hei found out!! haha yay..otherwise she everything oso want to pay.. after eating we split into 2 grps.. one grp went to Yang Ming Shan to visit the hot spring museum.. me, hei hei, isabel, kaiwen and limin went to sing ktv.. after that met at danshui at night.. ate roadside snacks for dinner haha..i love taiwanese sausages! danshui is this port zone.. so is quite far frm the main city i think.. its the last staion on the danshui mrt line..luciky my stop is at Shipai station, oso on the danshui line.. other ppl have to change line summore..haha.. but still reached home quite late..

Day 13: Last day at Lishan senior high!! so sad.. asembly we went onstage to sing the Lishan sch song to the sch as a surprise performance..i realli love Lishan!! then went to the conference room to have math lesson.. but is not traditional math la.. is some mathematical probs.. we folded stuff to make pyramids and stuff.. quite fun. after that went back to 202 to say bye.. took alot alot of pics with my beloved 202.. and gave a goodbye speech oso.. realli felt like crying.. and then we went to Danshui again.. but this time is with our buddies and a few Lishan teachers including xiao zhi zhi.. i miss him alot!! he;s a real fun teacher.. we toured ard danshui for awhile, bought some local foodstuff and ate their local delights for lunch after that we sat on a motor boat to a neighbouring island called fisherman's wharf or something lidat.. the scenery was wonderful.. so beautiful.. late afternnon, the teachers took most of the students back to Lishan, but a few of us decided to stay longer at Danshui.. we watched the sunset frm the beach.. ate bbq cuttlefish, bought souvenirs and took neoprints.. that night the night sky was so beautiful.. i really didnt want to come back at that moment.. i wanted to stay at that beautiful peaceful place forever!! but i still had to leave eventually... we were supposed to move my luggage to the teacher's association that night.. and cuz we spent too much time at Danshui.. so realli had to rush alot.. ttz also my last night at hei hei's house.. i miss the house, uncle and auntie.. took alot of pics with them too..

Day 14: early morning went to taipei railway station to gather.. going to Hualian for tour for the next 3 days..sat on the train for 3 hours to get to hualian.. slept most of the time, and chatted wif isabel..the hualian trip onli has singaporean students and teachers frm the 5 jcs.. i started to miss the taiwanese and taipei alreadi..first day at hualian we visited alot of mountains and caves.. it was starting to feel like a geog trip.. i miss taipei CITY!! we travelled on this coach along this super narrow road up the mountain, and one side of the road was the mountain side, the other was s sheer cliff down all the way.. so scary~! lucky the driver was so pro.. but we saw so many mountains that zhenghao decided to form a mountain club, he being the king, isabel the queen, yan ho the monster, and i became mountain princess hahah.. that night stayed at some 5 star hotel that realli surprised me cuz i didnt think hualian would have such a great hotel.. went on a movie marathon that night.. over 100 channels to surf! cool haha..

Day 15: went to visit farms today.. but the farm we went to was SO huge!! and it didnt look like a farm at all.. until we took a tram around the whole place and passed by some cow stables.. actually that place is a combination of cow farms, horse and sheep farm, flower cultivation,fruit cultivation, bee and honey harvesting, fish rearing, milk producing and alot alot more.. ttz why it was so humongous..then we went to this deserted logging factory which was apparently occupied by the Japs a long time ago.. overall quite boring.. and the food they feed us at Hualian was terrible!! dying to see some civilisation... dying to see taipei city agin..... luckily the sec hotel we stayed at was even better.. watched some tribal performance, and practised our own dance for the farewell dinner..

Day 16: went to a reallly really beautiful beach!.. first time i felt satisfied since coming to hualian! dunno how to descibe the place.. its like really really clean,with a pebbled shoreline facing the blue endless Pacific Ocean,. Green and brown highlands at the back, the "three immortals" island opposite the beach we were standing on, linked by this multiple-arched bridge across.. the cold wind blowing strongly.... so marvelous. ahhh.... but after that we went to see some 'ba xian cave' i tot is some really nice cave at the top of the mountain since we climbed like 1000 plus steps up.. then actualli there are like 8 caves on the way up ttz why is called ba xian cave!! and the one at the top was like so totally small! just enough to have an altar placed inside.. and the other 7 are no better! felt so cheated haha.. after a horrible lunch we went to visit a temple called Henan temple.. but i lazy to go in so just stood outside admiring the flowers.. after that took a long bus ride baack to hualian train station to catch the train back to taipei.. yay! taipei!! that night stayed at the teachers' association which totally sucked as compared to the prev hotels.. the room is so tiny!! and 3 of us were cramped into it.. the toilet was creepy, the tv is like a small carton box and other rooms were even haunted! after that we went to ask the taiwanese and they confirmed the place was 'unclean'.. spooky.. luckily our room was ok..

Day 17: morning went to Gu Gong.. this gigantic museum with historical artefacts.. its said that the musuem only displays 1% of its collections at each time cuz they have too much things haha.. so every time u go can see diff things.. but i fell asleep with isabel on one of the benches in the musuem.. so we onli had 1 hour left to tour haha.. but luckily managed to see quite alot of things..when we reached the teachers association, we dumped our stuff and rushed out forr last min shopping!! took a cab down to Ximen Ding where i spent my last $1500 in half an hour~ whew.. after that went to a hotel for rehearsal for the farewell dinner that night.. we rehearsed alot alot of times.. was quite irritated at some pt for some reason that i cant rmb haha..so at 6 plus the taiwanese arrived!! hugs and more hugs! havent seen them for 3 days but felt like eternity haha.. dinner was great, all the performances were great (including ours haha).. ended off with some sad sad songs..then i bade farewell to hei hei's parents cuz they wont be comng to send me off the nxt day haiz.. miss them alot. then went back to the teachers' association, but i didnt want to stay there.. so went to SHilin again with tony, brian, yong guan and bear bear.. lost zhenghao, isabel and chi heem in the crowds.. we shopped ard until nrearly 3 am then went back.. packed my stuff until 4 plus and finally KO in that creepy room.

Day 18: woke up at 10am.. so sad.. last day at taiwan!! i dun wanna leave!! morning went to eat Mos burger.. that day was a rush right from the start,.. after eating went back to teachers assiciation and had to carry down all our luggage alreadi.. 3 big handcarry bags plus 1 suitcase.. everybody was crowded at the lobby.. so messy, so chaotic, and then we were all hustled up the respective buses.. the taiwanese who stayed over the previous night made their own way to the airport.. reached the airport... cldnt find my luggage in the midst of all the commotion.. end up it got mistakenly carted off on the NJ trolley. lucky i found it back.. but wasted precious farewell time with the taiwanese!! so sad 202 cldnt come to send me off cuz its really too far away.. took alot alot of pics non stop.. forced myself not to cry, and i was successful until the final call was announced.. then i just hugged everyone and the tears came.. really didnt want to leave, until the guards had to come scold and push us in.. some stupid guard shoved me in.. cldnt manage to get a final hug frm hei hei.. sad sad.. even forgot to return her sim card arrggh.. still crying on the plane as i read all the letters given to me.. eventually fell into an exhausted sleep.. after 4 hrs... reach singapore!! home finally.. but i miss taiwan.. and mdm teo lost her lugagge.. a box full of books.. and cuz the luggage tags were on my passport, i had to follow her to make a repor.. cldnt rush out like everyone else to meet my family.. anticlimax hmmph. but finally settled all the stuff.. HOME SWEET HOME

hey ppl!! im in taiwan now!! its so cold here.. need to wear like 3 layers of clothes and scarves and stuff.. but its fun!! haha.. wont ever exp this in s'pore..
yesterday once we went off from the airport went to SOngshan High School, which is like the host sch.. then put our bags after that went to a hotel for welcome dinner.. and its so damn exciting!! all the taiwanese students were standing there screaming haha.. i reali felt like some bigshot star.. =/ and the food was great =D though in the end jus went round taking pics and not eating haha..
today i took a bus frm home to Lishan.. quite a long journey..their bus is similar to ours actulli..got tv mobile too!! but the students can sit on the floor.. so great! and its like a sch bus.. the whole bus onli had Lishan students! haha..
after we got there i realised the campus is HUMONGOUS! and they have very few students..900 altogetehr in 3 levels..so cool haha..
after that we went Songshan agaibn to put our stuff..then went to visit the Sun Yat Sen memorial hall.. just nice happened to see the guards change shift.. and they change shift is such a great affair! the 5 soldiers were like marching better than our soldiers in the NDP haha..tt place is so huge too..
after that went back to songshan watched a basketball match between the songshan team and, guess what, the singapore youth team haha.. n we lost. quite badly haha.. the songshan guys are so pro.after that wennt for lunch.. they all eat packed lunch in sch everyday.. but they said ours was much much better haha.. really inside had tons of food! 3 kinds of meat plus 2 kinds of vege and fish.. i nearly exploded haha..
THEN after that we went to another high sch to play paintball..its a shooting battle game where u really wear protective gear like some guerilla warfare guy and shoot others with a real gun.. except instead of bullets, u shoot out hard gobstopper like paintballs..its fun to watch haha.. but playing is so scary yet exciting! cuz it realy hurts when u get hit.. esp when u r suay like me, 90% of your body covered still can get hit on bare skin..and i got a headshot haha.. now there's this stupid swolen round patch at the centre of my forehead..and it hurts hurts hurts!! =/ so ugly la! HUAIYUAN!! i shall take revenge!!! his shot was super tyco haha.. i was wearing a hard face mask and a cap.. and somehow he got the thin strip of skin that was uncovered hmmph.. riｇht smack in the centre!!　can go be a sniper or marksman haha..but oh wel, its a once in a lifetime exp to get shot in the forehead and not die i guess..at least i'll know what to expect if anyone takes a gun and points at me..except i look like some weird goddess haha. but then again, ITS SO PAIN!!! -sob-
ya anyway, after that we went back LIshan.. then had dinner at Macs..most of the stuff is the same, except they got rice burgers like Mos..oh btw.. in Taiwan night falls at 5 plus! haha.. it gets dark so early.. makes me feel sleepy too.. esp this few days keep drizzling..after that we went to Chiang Kai Shek memorial.. but dunno why nv go in leh.. we just took lots of pics outside and played some games.. the ppl frm the other jcs all quite nice..=) and all the taiwan ppl too! then after that went to take mrt and bus home.. oh but we window shopped awhile at the mrt station..they oso got the ezlink system btw =)
now at home.. jus finished repacking my luggage.. its almost bursting liao haha.. and i havent even started my shoppiing spree!! hei hei's mother gave me a copy of SHE's new album!! with their original autographs! so nice haha.. cuz she knows Selina's mom very well haha..
tmr go sch we are gg to have lessons with them.. but i'll go ALONE　to the taiwan class! only on wed then go to hei's hei's class.. cuz the principal tehre wants us to interact with more taiwanese.. but im so scared. hope the other classes are nice to get along with =x

its TOMORROW!! omg i cant believe it.. i got a million things to do! but im still blogging here haha.. what an idiot. amnyway, i want to say bye to everyone! pam, pris, hy, krys, rmb our xmas shopping! but i'll be broke anyway haha.. but i can window shop!! =)
i'll miss home, miss my family, miss the pigs, miss my missed tv shows, miss my friends, miss s'pore food, miss everyrhing!! bye everyone and everything! see ya again on xmas eve haha..=x
but i know i'll LOVE taiwan.. =D

One more week to taiwan!! so excited now haha.. but at the same time abit apprehensive.. im afraid i'll be homesick.. or maybe i wont want to come back.. haha.
today went heartland mall to buy alot of stuff for the taiwan trip..and i got cheated!! hmmph! i bought 3 long stockings for 10 dollars at some dunno what boutique.. then went to guardian and saw that they only sold 3 for $2.45!! its like ALOT of difference lor! feel so cheated now. and im so broke too! arrgh.
oh then went to eat lunch wif krys.. plus engjuay and yong han too haha since they were loitering around there oso..
so sian. nth to do at home.. cant stand looking at that pile of math homework =/
