its so frustrating to know tat jus NEXT WEEK　i'll be freer than i'll ever be, yet it seems like an eternity away. haix. i shall refrain from reading anyone's blog from now till 24th. such a horrible torture to read everyone's jubilant cries of celebration while i mug on. haha.
read the newspaper yesterday.. GST going to be raised to 7% next year.. gosh!! tats alot leh!! wats the government thinking of?? havent they already realised income inequality is worsening? dont they know that consumption taxes are regressive?? so wats the logic behind increasing gst to help the poor? maybe they'll subsidise the poor, but wat abt the middle income ppl like us?? we're not as rich as ppl like wee shu min, and we dont get subisidies like the really poor ppl.. so we end up worst. i tink i'd better buy all the things i want now before the prices go up haha. besides, u raise gst when the economy is doing well, but when the economy slows down, can it be adjusted downwards please? i hope i dont get sued for slandering the govt or something haha. i just feel that its so urgghhh to pay higher and higher taxes.
aiya. going back to mug econs.
