today is my first day at work.. at a chinese employment agency called shitong.. im the clerk! haha.. so weird to work in an office, n in such a cheena environment too.. but luckily the boss is quite nice. tmr he's giving us a treat at his restaurant.. nice haha.. but then besides the regular office stuff eg photocopy, filing, emailing, downloading stuff, sorting, data entry, filling up forms, picking up calls, liasing with the fuzhou agents via chatting,i still gotta do random stuff like wash their coffee cups, empty the rubbish bins n vacuum the floor ha. is that exploitation? cuz im the youngest n easiest to bully haha.. but oh well.. for the money. even though the salary is realli quite low haa.. but then again im glad got ppl wan to hire me!cuz i got no exp.. n then on weekends im working at roadshows with uob bank to promote credit cards.. oso very chim.. got 14 cards (got classic, gold, platinum n blah blah) to promote each with diff selling pts, benefits and target consumers.. n alot of banking terms n procedures which im still quite confused abt.. hopefully can work same roadshows as qiuyi then she can teach me. cuz the other promoters like quite dao. haha..but the journey to work is like more tiring than actual doing work haha. cant wait to see the money enter my bank account! lol.
