China never fails to amaze me. haha.. okie im back from my week long trip to the land of the dragons (since every rock is imagined to be some sort of dragon.. n oh i jus got to know tat dragon is the symbol of the devil in the christian faith.. which means i cant take pics with my zodiac anymore hah but its ok）anyway, i had quite alot of fun this time round, despite the IMPOSIBBLE conditions of their toilets and the "food" they feed us. last time i was appalled at doorless toilets. this time round i had to use pits which has never been cleared in the last century or so. somehow when u go to china, u have to adopt this heck-care-jus-whack attitude, otherwise wont be able to survive. like not feeling embarrassed when a woman stands right in front of you waiting for u to finish your toilet business. or bathing in ice cold water when the temperature is below 10 degrees because the freaking hotel hasnt switched on their stupid boiler and eating food tat doesnt look or taste anything like food. or sitting scrunched up in a coach tat bumps along some mountain road for 4 hours. btw today i ate curry fish head!!!! its like, wa i've never eaten something so nice before. haha.
but the scenery there is really really beautiful, even though i had to climb soooooooo many flights of steps up and down the gorge tat i could have aced the vertical marathon or walk so many kilometers jus to see the waterfall, or the forest, the 油菜花 or the inselbergs, and caves, its really worth it. nature is so magnificent. haha.. and this time the places i went are karst landscapes.. i really saw many typical karst landforms tat wld make ms tham's eyes pop out if she were still teaching geog. its 10 gazillion times better than our kota tinggi field trip, which i really didnt enjoy at all cuz i didnt like my group hah..
n our guides are very nice too..i tink i will miss 小太 and leo alot, and also our fellow tour mates though they seldom talk to us. heh and of cuz the 帅哥s tat i met haha.. especially the bellboy at the guiyang hotel cuz he jus had tat super cute expression when i told him i cldnt figure out how to switch on the television haha.. oh and i saw many different tribes of people. apparently china has altogether 56 different peoples and out of tat 55 are minority tribes.. this time we saw abt 5 different tribes and all their costumes are so pretty!! if only can buy back haha..
maybe like what he promised, Leo will really make it big 5 years later and invite us back again.
for now, i've had enough of china haha. time to get back to work and stress out over my uni stuff. =/
